Askar 71F Flat-Field 71 mm 71/490 f/6.9 is a universal optical instrument which, thanks to its optical characteristics, is perfect for astrophotography enthusiasts, as well as an excellent tool for visual observations. The telescope set includes complete equipment enabling you to mount the optical tube on the mount and immediately start observing.
The heart of this telescope is a four-element, apochromatic optic with an air gap. To ensure the best possible correction of chromatic aberrations, this model uses a single low-dispersion (ED) glass lens. In addition to excellent color reproduction, Askar 71F Flat-Field 71 mm 71/490 f/6.9 is characterized by maintaining a slight field curvature, thanks to which, even without the use of an additional flattener, the image on the edge of the frame is free from noticeable distortions.
However, the possibilities of this telescope are not limited only to astrophotography. This instrument enables visual observations after connecting an angle attachment or glasses with a diameter of 1.25" or 2".
In addition to impeccable optical parameters, Askar 71F Flat-Field 71 mm 71/490 f/6.9 is characterized by high quality and precision of mechanical elements. A solid extractor allows the installation of large astrophotographic cameras, and the mounting rings and Vixen foot made using CNC technology guarantee full stability of the tube. • high-class astrograph with a low dispersion (ED) lens, eliminating chromatic aberrations • advanced optical design guaranteeing perfect field curvature correction without the need to use an additional flattener • possibility of installing filters with M48x0.75 thread • Diameter of the full illumination circle ensuring full frame coverage • can also be used in visual observations • optical design: apochromatic refractor • lens system: ED quadruplet with air break • number of low dispersion lenses: one • Front lens diameter (aperture): 71 mm • focal length: 490 mm • aperture: f/6.9 • Full illumination disc diameter: 44 mm • compatibility with full-frame matrices: yes • connection adapters: M64x0.75 - M54x0.75; M54x0.75 - M54x0.75; M54x0.75 - M48x0.75 • maximum working distance (for astrophotography) from the base of the M48x0.75 thread: 82.5 mm • maximum working distance (for astrophotography) from the base of the M54x0.75 thread: 100.5 mm • maximum working distance (visual observations) from the end of the 1.25" eyepiece socket: 117 mm • maximum working distance (visual observations) from the end of the 2" eyepiece socket: 127 mm • compatible glasses / angle attachments: 1.25" / 2" • possibility of installing a filter: yes, with M48x0.75 thread in the M54x0.75 - M48x0.75 adapter • extractor diameter: 2.4" • type of lift: rack & pinion, dual speed with a gear ratio of 1:10 • rotator: yes, 360° • mounting bracket: Vixen foot • deflector: yes, foldable • tube length (with photo adapter and unfolded deflector): 473.4 mm • tube weight without accessories: 2.5 kg • weight of the tube with accessories: 3.0 kg • Askar 71F Flat-Field optical tube 71 mm 71/490 f/6.9 • mounting clamps • Vixen rail 230 mm • photo adapters • 45° angle attachment • 8 mm eyepiece • 20 mm eyepiece • documentation 24 months
