Bahtinov's mask is one of the basic pieces of equipment for every astrophotography enthusiast. This extremely simple and precise device allows for perfect focusing, which is not always possible with the use of only digital techniques (FWHM, FocusMax, Robofocus etc.). Depending on the size and mechanical structure of the tube, the mask can be mounted inside the tube / dew shield, or on the outer circumference of the tube.
