NexStar Evolution is the most advanced line of Celestron telescopes, addressed to enthusiasts of night observations.
Nexstar Evolution telescopes have received a completely new alt-az assembly with new engines with higher precision than in classic "Nexstars" and worm gears on both axes.
Large, convenient adjustment knobs allow you to disengage the motors and manually rotate the telescope for initial alignment to the sky and for daytime observations.
The built-in, lightweight lithium-ion battery, very efficient even in winter conditions, allows you to work in the field for 10 hours without the need to connect the mains power supply and frees you from the hassle of tangled cables. You can add seamless cooperation with the Starsense AutoAlign system.
However, the biggest novelty in the new version of Nexstar Evolution is a revolutionary way of controlling the telescope - wirelessly, via WiFi! Everything is done using a smartphone with the appropriate software provided by Celestron with the telescope. The software is rich in multimedia and allows you to realistically present the appearance of the sky at any time.
Another interesting feature is the red illuminated table for accessories. This table holds 3 1.25" eyepieces, 1 2" eyepiece and space for various small accessories, and interestingly - it can also be used when the tripod legs are partially unfolded. • Built-in WiFi – the telescope does not require a classic GoTo controller on a cable. Just install the included software on your smartphone or tablet to operate the telescope via a wireless network.
• Free Celestron software - allows you to obtain a realistic image of the sky for a given moment, it also has many advanced options - among others, it allows you to predict the moments of visibility of the Great Red Spot on Jupiter, determines the transits of moons, and for other objects - moments of ascending, conjunctions, sunrises and sunsets. The program suggests to the observer the most interesting nebular objects. Additionally, many of the objects have extensive descriptions illustrated with beautiful photos.
• Internal, long-lasting Lithium-Ion battery - charged using an external charger. The battery guarantees 10 hours of continuous operation.
• Precisely made gears and modified engines - enable high driving precision. Worm gears are used both in the azimuth and height axis, which helps minimize backlash. This is a big improvement over the currently produced SE series
• SkyAlign - a simple method of aligning the telescope based on three bright stars in the sky.
• NexStar+ controller included - although the telescope can be operated via WiFi, for full functionality a NexStar+ controller typically used in Celestron telescopes has also been added
• Improved tripod - all tripod elements are made of metal, which significantly improves the load-bearing capacity and stability of the structure. There are several marks on the tripod legs that allow for easy leveling at different heights
• Quick assembly and disassembly - all elements are screwed using convenient screws with large handles. The telescope can be assembled without using any tools in a very short time.
• 4 AUX ports – AUX ports allow you to connect additional devices to the Evolution assembly. In particular, such a port may be useful for connecting the StarSense system enabling automatic setting
• Power supply included - the telescope has a universal power supply that allows operation with various power supply voltages and various types of plugs. Power supply parameters: 12V 2.1A
• Accessory table - allows you to attach 3 1.25", 1 2" eyepiece as well as other accessories. The table does not have to be dismantled when folding the tripod legs.

Moon planets star clusters nebulae control from PC
3 years for mechanics, 2 years for electronics

This device focuses a large amount of light. Looking directly at the Sun through this device may result in partial or complete loss of vision. To observe the Sun, we recommend the safest method of eyepiece projection, i.e. projecting the image of the disk of our day star onto a piece of paper.
