The Player One IR-Pass 685nm 1.25″ Filter (SKU: IR685 ) transmits only infrared radiation above ~685nm, effectively suppressing the entire visible and ultraviolet bands. With a shorter cut-on than the IR850, the filter perfectly combines high resolution (shorter wavelength) with greater resistance to seeing, resulting in exceptionally sharp images of planets (especially Mars and Jupiter), the Moon, and details of the solar photosphere in white light (with appropriate ERF/Herschel).
