ZWO ASI 662MC is a compact OSC ( one shot color ) astronomical camera dedicated to planetary astrophotography.

The heart of this camera is the Sony IMX662 color matrix, using back illumination (BI) and Sony Starvis 2™ technology, thanks to which it is characterized by extremely high sensitivity in both the visible and near infrared range and three times greater capacity of the potential well. This sensor is also characterized by negligibly low level of readout noise, which for 19 dB gain takes the value of only 1.22 e. In combination with an advanced 12-bit analog-to-digital converter, this guarantees obtaining breathtaking results in almost any conditions.

The whole thing is enclosed in a light and compact housing made of aluminum and finished in the red color typical of ZWO products.
