Antlia IR 850 1.25 "is a professional planetary filter designed to record images in the infrared radiation range.
This filter blocks the ultraviolet band and visible light, allowing only the infrared to pass through. Thanks to this, it is possible to minimize the negative influence of the Earth's atmosphere and obtain a significant improvement in sharpness and contrast in planetary photography. Moreover, thanks to the darkening of the background, this filter allows you to take pictures of planets also in daylight.
Attention! The Antlia IR 850 1.25 "filter is not recommended for visual observation. Under no circumstances should it be used as a filter for observing the Sun! • planetary filter made of high-quality Schott substrate, transmitting infrared radiation • holder with minimum thickness ensuring the largest possible active diameter of the filter • enables planetary photography even in daylight • filter type: planetary filter, IR-pass • filter diameter: 1.25 " • filter thickness: 2 ± 0.05 mm • filter shape: round • Substrate material: Schott optical glass • pass bands: IR • beginning of the transmission range: 850 nm • surface quality index (acc. To MIL-O-13830 standard): 60/40 • parallelism: 30 " • the execution accuracy (RMS): λ / 4 • thread: M28.5x0.6 • Antlia IR 850 filter 1.25 " 24 months
