The high-quality coma corrector of the Baader Planetarium MPCC Mark III is the successor to MPCC known for several years, it is designed for photography and visual observations using Newtonian telescopes. This is a two-lens Ross type equalizer, cooperating in the range of light from f / 6 to even f / 3.5. It requires a strictly defined 55 mm (+/- 1 mm) distance from the corrector lens to the image plane and at least 20 mm of the scope of work of the extractor inside the tube. MPCC Mark III also has a standard 2 "filter thread. Its characteristic feature is uncompromising coma correction in astrophotographic applications, however, for cooperation with OAG, the Baader RCC corrector with 94.5 mm image distance from the T2 thread will be better. This equalizer does not change the light output and does not vignette until f / 3.5. In addition, it does not worsen the image in the center of the field of view - no "center soft spot" effect. The optical elements are coated with Baader Phantom Group anti-reflection coatings with very wide transmission - from near UV to near infrared. Compared to the photographic set (catalog number: 2458400A), it is a ready set for visual observations, which additionally has a 1.25 "/ T-2 adapter (# 2458125) and a 20-29mm VariLock T-2 extension tube (# 2956929).
