This optical instrument has a high light intensity of f / 2.8 and a medium-wide field of view at a focal length of 420 mm. If you already know why you are looking for this telescope, you can skip this paragraph. If not, you need to know that this optical tube collects nearly 4 times more light than a typical f / 5 - f / 6 apochromatic refractor or a similar Newtonian telescope.
This instrument is intended for experienced users, among other things, due to the very narrow scope of the back-focus. In return, it offers possibilities unattainable for others - it only takes 30-40 minutes of exposure to take a color picture of the galaxy M31! Long exposures lasting many hours will allow you to get great images of the most demanding objects, such as the dark nebulae, collected in the LDN catalog. However, if you are interested in narrowband imaging, you can take breathtaking photos overnight in the Hubble Color Palette using Hα, OIII, SII filters.
Although this telescope was created with astrophotography in mind, there is nothing to prevent you from replacing a camera or a camera with a high-quality 20 mm eyepiece (not included) and enjoying great views of the night sky in a wide field of view.
