The anti-dew heater strip is designed for ZWO ASI cooled cameras. It prevents dew from accumulating on the front protective window and camera inlet elements, significantly improving operating comfort in humid conditions. The strip is only 0.2–0.3 mm thick and attaches to the front of the camera body using adhesive tape and the included cable tie. A Y-type power cable is also included, allowing for easy connection of the heater simultaneously with the camera's cooling system.

Instructions for use

1. Remove the protective film from the adhesive layer of the heating strip.
2. Place the heating band on the front of the camera with the black wire next to the DC power socket.
3. Secure the cable with the included cable tie.
4. Connect the Y-cable – one output to the cooling system, the other to the heating band.
5. Connect the power supply – from now on the camera is protected against condensation.

Important information

• recommended power supply: 12 V DC, 0.35 A (approx. 4.2 W)
• it is possible to use one power cable for cooling and heating at the same time, but make sure that the permissible current is not exceeded
• in many ZWO camera models (e.g. ASI071MC-P, ASI2600, ASI6200, ASI2400) the heater is already built into the camera – an external band is then not necessary
• in the ASI183, ASI1600, ASI294 and ASI533 models, the heat from the Peltier module dissipates through the camera housing and usually prevents condensation
• be careful with the soldered part - it is sensitive and should not be subjected to strong tension

HOW TO USE THE WRISTBAND?

remove the adhesive tape protection



Stick the heating strip to the front of the camera, making sure that the black power cable is positioned next to the camera's power plug / DC on the back of the camera body /





attach the black wire to the camera body with a cable tie



Plug in the power cord; the heating band is ready to work and will prevent dew from settling on the important elements of the camera
