It is a revolutionary tool for remote control of a telescope equipped with the GoTo system. Using it, you can quickly and easily find the object of interest in the eyepiece. Just point the laser beam at the right place in the sky and the telescope will adjust itself to the selected direction.

The laser controller connects via a WiFi adapter that plugs into the SynScan handheld controller. SynScan StarWand enables synchronous control of many assemblies at the same time. It is ideal for observations during astronomical shows and events. The laser controller works with manual controller software version V3 3.38 or newer, version V4 or V5 4.38.06 or newer. In the case of older versions of the software, they must be updated.

StarWand is powered by a 18650 Li-ion Samsung INR18650-25R battery. It works with all azimuthal and equatorial mounts equipped with the GoTo Sky-Watcher system and compliant with this standard (typically from the same factories, offered under a different brand).
