SkyWatcher MAK 102 is an optical tube in the Maksutov-Cassegrain system with a diameter of 102 mm and a focal length of 1300 mm.
The tube works well as a short balcony planetary spotter, providing very high contrast when observing bright and compact objects (Moon, planets, bright clusters and galaxies), because it is practically free from chromatic aberration and is not very sensitive to atmospheric instability.
