MATRIX contrast filter for biological microscopes with a diameter of 32 mm mounted in the filter holder under the microscope table.
When using lenses with a small magnification (10x or less), it is often difficult to obtain a uniform illumination of the entire field of view. A matt filter placed in a dedicated holder just below the condenser, properly dissipating the light increases the uniformity of lighting.
Matt filters are not used when using higher magnifications.
