Vortex Strike Eagle 1-8x24 FFP 30mm EBR-8 is a running scope with EBR-8 reticle in the foreground, illuminated reticle and variable magnification 1-8 ×.

If you are the owner of the AR15 rifle, you will probably consider purchasing an LPVO (Low Power Variable Optics) scope - optics with a small, variable magnification. Unlike with a traditional telescope, the magnification range starts with the real 1 × and usually ends at the maximum magnification of 10 ×. LPVO riflescopes are mainly used on AR-15 rifles and hunting weapons, because they allow for dynamic and accurate shooting at a short distance, as well as precise firing at medium and longer distances. The greatest advantage of the Vortex LVPO sight is, of course, its versatility (compared to a collimator and a holographic sight), which is why running scopes are commonly used by sport shooters, uniformed formations and hunters.

The Vortex Strike Eagle 1-8 × 24 scope features an illuminated EBR-8 reticle in the foreground. When you change the magnification, the FFP reticle expands or shrinks proportionally, making it easier to read and make corrections when shooting at longer distances. The cross etched by the laser on the glass guarantees the reliability and durability of the optics.

The aiming point (dot and open circle) has an 11-step backlight adjustment, allowing you to perfectly adjust the brightness to your needs. A wide adjustment range enables comfortable work in all lighting conditions, also with the use of night vision (2 lowest brightness settings). The large distance from the exit pupil causes (99 mm) that the shooter's eyesight remains relaxed, as entering the target does not have to adapt to the field of view. It also enables comfortable use of the telescope by people using corrective lenses and protects against the recoil of large-caliber weapons. The illuminated sight with real 1 × magnification acts as the sight of the collimator, allowing for dynamic shooting at a short distance.

The EBR-8 reticle takes into account the ballistics of the ammunition with calibers .223 Rem / .308 / 7.62, it can also be used for weapons of other caliber (applying corrections using the BDC scale). An additional upper scale enables a quick calculation of the distance to the target. For the adjustment of the net, there are covered, low-profile turrets with knurled covers that allow you to change settings also in gloves. A drum click moves the mesh 1/4 MOA (7 mm / 100 m). The full range of the net adjustment is 145 MOA vertically and horizontally.
