The lens hood is an essential product for protecting lenses from strong humidity and condensation that may form. Depending on whether our optics are an SCT, a MAK, a refractor or a Newtonian, we can also use the lens hood to protect our instrument from stray light, improving the contrast and therefore also the observation of celestial objects. Also useful in astrophotography, the Artesky lens hood is made of foamex with an internal velvet lining to prevent condensation from forming on the walls of the lens hood itself, keeping it dry and clean. The Velcro strap allows for quick and easy fastening, and also allows you to adjust the opening of the lens hood by a few centimetres, making it suitable for different openings (generally +/- 2-3cm)
