The pillar mount allows you to replace the field tripod, which is a standard accessory of the NEQ6 / EQ6-R / AZ-EQ6 SkyWatcher mounts. One of the advantages is i.a. the presence of wheels, thanks to which you can quickly move the telescope on a hard and even surface. High-quality workmanship guarantees the stability of the structure not worse than that offered by a field tripod.
