ZWO PE200 is a dedicated extension ( pier extension ) intended for expanding the ZWO AM5 assembly. This product is especially recommended for astrophotography sets in which, due to the length of the optical tube or the positioning of the counterweight arm, there is a risk of collision of the AM5 assembly with the tripod.

The PE200 extension is made of aircraft-grade aluminum alloy, which, combined with the openwork structure, allows for low weight while maintaining high load-bearing capacity. This model is designed for a load of 50 kilograms.

Thanks to the modular structure, the extension can be easily transformed into an openwork structure with a height of 160 mm after replacing the cylindrical part with optionally available ZWO-PILLAR160 brackets. The maximum and recommended load will then be the same as in the case of the PE160 extension.
