The Messier R-152S optical tube is a high-class achromatic refractor dedicated to advanced visual observations and astrophotography. It is equipped with a lens with a diameter of 152 mm and a focal length of 760 mm, made of 4 lenses (Petzwala type construction). Thanks to this, the telescope is characterized by a large, flat field of view despite its high light intensity. It works perfectly in visual observations of planets and the Moon, showing many details of the surface of the Solar System objects. Among the deep sky objects, it allows you to see hundreds of nebulae from the Messier and NGC catalogs. Optics fully covered with anti-reflective layers (MC). Equipped with a 4-inch eyepiece extractor that can be reduced to 2 inches and 1.25 inches. The MC layers on the lens significantly increase the contrast of the images obtained, and the eyepiece lens with a diameter of 4 inches with a reduction to 1.25 inches allows the use of any glasses made in these standards. This telescope is an excellent choice for advanced sky observers.
The optical tube can be mounted on any assembly with the stiffness class EQ-5 or higher, through a standard dovetail connector.

>> FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS << Question : I have a problem sharpening the accessories in this tube, as if I could not hide the extractor deeper than required. How to fix it?
Answer: The eyepiece extractor can be shortened by 23.5 mm by twisting the sleeve between the 4 "extractor and the 2" reduction / adapter. The pictures below explain how to achieve this:
