The Askar SQA55 f/4.8 55/264 is a professional astrograph with a design that also allows it to be used in everyday photography with DSLRs and mirrorless cameras.
The optical system of this lens consists of five elements, two of which are made of extra-low dispersion (SD) and low dispersion (ED) glass. This design not only provides excellent resolution and image detail, but also excellent color reproduction thanks to effective correction of chromatic aberrations. The applied optical design allows work in a wide range of working distance, which, combined with a double system of coarse and fine focusing, significantly facilitates the lens operation.
The very good optical properties are accompanied by the quality of workmanship. Both the body and the lens hood are made of metal.
