Complete optical tube with a 254mm F/4 mirror (10 inches, focal length 1000 mm), with a monorail (modified Crayford focuser) 2" / 1.25" with a 10:1 microfocuser and a very good 8x50 finder, designed for advanced astrophotography and very advanced visual observations, both of Solar System objects, as well as star clusters, nebulae and galaxies. It has a very bright parabolic mirror, relatively small dimensions and a weight of 15.6 kg with clamps, which makes this telescope a very fast and efficient astrograph.
(For visual observations we recommend HEQ5 class mount, for astrophotography - EQ6)
• large glass mirror with a diameter of 254 mm (10 inches)
• f/4 brightness great for astrophotography (strong tripod required), as well as for advanced visual observations
• efficiency of mirror surfaces 94% of the main
• 2 inch extractor with reduction to 1.25 inch with 10:1 microfocuser, compatible with ZWO EAF
• 8x50 optical finder with tube mount
• 2" / 2" eyepiece connector, 35mm long, with clamping ring
• tube clamps and dovetail mounting rail, 43mm wide
• Optical system: Newtonian reflector
• Lens diameter: 254 mm
• Focal length: 1000 mm
• Light intensity: f/4
• Stellar range: 14.7 magnitude
• Maximum usable magnification: 500x
• Length: 970 mm
• Weight: 15.6 kg (including focuser, finder, clamps, tube itself: 13.7, clamps and dovetails: 1.9)
