Garmin Alpha 100 with collar TT15 is an advanced set for tracking the position and training of hunting dogs.

The Alpha 100 is a powerful device that allows your hunting dogs to achieve optimal results while hunting and working. The Alpha 100 model combines Garmin GPS tracking technology with the Tri-Tronics digital training feature. This easy-to-use navigation device allows you to locate dogs in the field and provides accurate position data every 2.5 seconds.

Professional tracking

Garmin Alpha 100 allows you to accurately track the speed, distance and direction your dog has been moving. We can also receive notifications about the current condition of the dog, eg about "displaying game". The device can track up to 20 dogs or hunters simultaneously within a radius of 14.5 km. Updating your position every 2.5 seconds helps you maintain control of your dog. GPS and Glonas antennas provide high accuracy of readings, even in difficult conditions. It comes preloaded with a map of Europe and a yearly BirdsEye Satellite Imagery subscription for a real world view.

Training and control

Alpha 100 allows you to train, control and stop the dog while chasing unwanted game. During training, we can communicate with the dog using safe and effective functions (18 levels of temporary and continuous stimulation) and audio or vibration commands. The user can choose between two pacing modes. Variable temporal stimulation allows you to quickly change the predefined 6 levels (low, medium, high). The form of linear continuous stimulation is used to gradually increase the stimulus over 18 levels. We can control dogs even when they are out of our line of sight. A virtual firewall feature and range alerts help you stay in control of your dog when it leaves a certain radius or area.

High security

Before hunting, we can set up virtual fences, dangerous areas and notifications informing us when a dog has come near them. After the dog enters the danger zone, you can remotely turn on the LEDs, thanks to which the animal will be visible from a long distance. After the TT15 transmitter battery is discharged below 25%, the rescue mode is automatically activated, which reduces the update frequency and gives us an additional 12 hours to find the pet. In case of our danger, we can send a rescue signal and our current position to all connected Alpha devices.

Maps

Alpha 100 has a microSD card slot, which enables the use of additional maps, such as TOPO, BirdsEye (sold separately), and City Navigator NT for accurate road navigation. Satellite images obtained from BirdsEye make it possible to check whether the dog is, for example, near a busy road, whether it has crossed a river, etc. The device supports Garmin Custom Maps software, which modifies traditional and digital maps into a version that can be downloaded from the device.

Additional software

The Covey Counter tool makes it possible to mark a hunting spot as a special point, noting the exact location, time, height and number of animals taken out. On the map, we can also save other locations, e.g. of a car or a hunting lodge, to easily reach them. You can make your hunt more efficient with BaseCamp, which is helpful for viewing maps, points of interest, routes, and tracks. After installing the BaseStation application on the laptop, our computer will act as a mobile command center, allowing for efficient tracking of many dogs equipped with T5 collars. This is a very effective and proven solution for rescue teams and search dogs.

Durable construction

Alpha 100 has been designed with performance, reliability and durability in mind to withstand the tough conditions of hunting and training dogs. The devices are IPX7 waterproof and the eye-catching orange color scheme makes it easy to locate the device in the field. Alpha 100 is powered by a lithium-ion battery that provides up to 20 hours of operation.
