Sharpstar RC2508 (0.8x) is a focal length reducer dedicated to use in the most sophisticated astrophotographic sets based on Ritchey - Chrétien (RC) telescopes with diameters in the range of 200 - 800 mm and lenses in the range f / 6 - f / 9.

The optical construction of this reducer is a classic triplet with an air gap. In order to eliminate any possible light reflections, as well as to improve the contrast, all lenses are covered with a full multi-layer coating.

The excellent optical system is hidden in a precisely made metal housing, which guarantees resistance to accidental damage and maintaining the alignment even when loaded with a heavy camera or SLR.
