A set of four moon-planetary contrast filters designed for both visual observation and photography. Many structures are difficult to see or even impossible without the use of filters.
• filter # 25A Red - red, T = 14% Helps sharpen Jupiter's belts, sea and caps on Mars; ideal for larger telescopes.
• filter # 12 Yellow - yellow, T = 74% The yellow filter adds contrast to blues, improves reds and yellows when observing Jupiter and Saturn, and also improves overall contrast on Mars and the Moon.
• filter # 80A Blue - blue, T = 30% A popular filter that improves the spiral structures of Jupiter belts, including the Red Spot, also improves the overall contrast on Saturn and the Moon.
• ND96 moon filter 13% Neutral density moon filter with 13% transmission. ND filters cut the entire visible spectrum of light evenly, thanks to which the amount of light reaching the eye does not offend the observer - which is a typical situation when observing the Moon with larger telescopes. This filter is also used when observing Jupiter and Venus, as well as an additional darkening filter for observing the Sun (with the mandatory sun filter for the lens). • binding: 1.25 " • optics: glass with a high quality anti-reflective coating • reference number # 07544 • product series: 4000 • producer: Meade USA
