GSO telescope in the Newton 150/600 M-LRN system on the Sky-Watcher EQ5 assembly

A complete optical tube with a 150mm F / 4 mirror (6 inches, 600mm focal length), with a monorail (modified Crayford's extract) 2 "/ 1.25" with a 10: 1 microscope and a very good 6x30 finder, designed for advanced astrophotography and visual observations. It has a very bright parabolic mirror, a relatively small size and a weight of 5.5 kg with clamps, which makes this telescope a very fast and efficient astrograph.

The EQ5 (CG-5) parallact mount offers exceptional stability and precision along with many other high-performance features that are useful for anyone, even an advanced astronomer. The assembly head reliably rests on a wide platform mounting stand made of stainless steel and equipped with a useful accessory table. The set also includes a level indicator (level), adjustment of the geographical width setting along with a micrometer scale and an azimuthal polar setter for the polarity star. The EQ5 also has engraved aluminum adjusting rings and microcontroller knobs. Mounting can optionally be equipped with a polar spot scope and drive in one or two axes. Assembly weight: about 22 kg.

Characteristics of the optical tube

• large glass mirror with a diameter of 150 mm (6 inches)
• f / 4 brightness for astrophotography
• efficiency of mirrored surfaces 94% of the main
• 2-inch draw with reduction to 1.25 inches with a 10: 1 microcharger
• Optical finder 6x30 fixing to the tube
• 2 "/ 2" eyepiece adapter 35 mm with clamping ring
• tube clamps and dovetail mounting rail width of 43 mm

Technical data of the optical tube

• Optical system: Newton reflector
• Diameter of the lens: 150 mm
• Focal length: 600 mm
• light: f / 4
• Dimensions of the secondary mirror: 63 mm (length of the shorter axis)
• Stellar range: 13 magnitudes
• Maximum useful magnification: 300x
• Dimensions: 176 mm x 176 mm x 570 mm (length only 57 cm!)
• Weight: 5.5 kg (including lift, finder, clamps)
