Dual axis motors (RA and Dec.) will steer the telescope in the selected direction at a speed that compensates for the earth's rotation (1/4 degree per minute). This will ensure that the observed objects remain in the field of view at all times. Irreplaceable in astrophotography, facilitates visual observations. The set includes two motors controlling the axis of right ascension and declination and a pilot that allows you to adjust the speed and stop the drive. Powered by ± 8 D-type batteries or optional 12 V power supply.
Additional adjustment possibilities enable the telescope to be guided: - at a rate of approximately 2 x degrees per minute. - at a speed of 4 x that is about 1 degree per minute, - with a speed of 4 x, i.e. about 1 degree per minute, only in the opposite direction, - stopping driving Adapted for mounting Bresser MON2 / EXOS2 2 years
