The dark dry field condenser is an optional equipment for the Bresser Erudit DLX, Researcher Bino and Trino microscopes. Ananlyth Bino, BioScience Bino and Trino and Science TRM-301. The condenser is mounted in place of the Abbe condenser.
The use of a dark field condenser in a microscope allows the contrast of the preparation image to be increased without the need to stain it. Darkfield microscopy is used in the study of live preparations enabling non-invasive tests ensuring the possibility of observation in real time and under high magnification. The principle of this technique is to provide only the refracted light on the sample to the lens. The remaining part of the beam is cut off thanks to a special iris, located in the microscope condenser. As a result, an image is obtained with a brightly lit preparation on a dark background. A dry dark field condenser should be used with lenses with an aperture of maximum 0.7NA. This corresponds to a 40x magnification lens. The dry condenser of the dark field is used to study preparations using oil-free lenses. (Source: Wikipedia.org) 2 years Keywords for the product: dark field, dark field, dark field observation
