Filter drawer for Celestron Origin telescopes (Celestron, SKU: 93681) is identical to the removable drawer supplied as standard with Celestron Origin telescopes. It can replace a lost drawer or serve as an additional holder with a pre-installed filter. It allows several filters to be prepared in separate drawers and complete inserts to be exchanged quickly without unthreading the filter cells during an astrophotography session.
The drawer is compatible with both the Celestron Origin Intelligent Home Observatory and the Celestron Origin Mark II Intelligent Home Observatory. It accepts standard 1.25" and 2" astronomy filters, including broadband, narrowband, light-pollution-reduction and other specialty filters.
Important before first use: the two magnets included with the kit must be attached to the drawer by the user with epoxy adhesive, which is not included. The correct polarity of the magnets must be checked before they are glued in place. The manufacturer recommends allowing the adhesive to cure fully for 24 hours before inserting the drawer into the telescope’s filter housing.
