The SCS MP2 collimator from Holosun is a compact sight designed for S&W MP2 9 mm and .40 pistols. The collimator has a low-profile base that provides access to fixed sights. The body is made of 7075 T6 aluminum and is properly sealed to meet IP68 standards and withstand vibrations up to 5000 G. The sight uses the Solar Failsafe™ system for power. It consists of two elements - a solar panel and a built-in battery. In the case of sufficient sunlight, the collimator will use only the panel for power. In poor lighting conditions, it will use the battery, which is enough for up to 20,000 hours of operation. The power consumption of the LED diode is at the microA level. Solar Failsafe is also responsible for automatic regulation of the dot intensity, optimally adapting it to the ambient light. Similarly to the power supply, it is not important whether the light falling on the cell is natural or artificial. The collimator sight is equipped with the Multi-Reticle System™ (MRS). It allows the user to choose the type of aiming point - a 2 MOA dot, a 32 MOA circle or a combination of both. The sight is equipped with a system of advanced lenses, multi-layered with reflective coatings. This solution allows for excellent transmission of visible light. The image visible through the lens is clear, bright and parallax-free. All points are displayed using a single LED diode, so there is no need to zero them after changing the shape.
