ZWO ASI 676MC is a compact astronomical camera which, due to its square matrix format, is ideal for arranging mosaic photographs, as well as photographing meteorites and monitoring large areas of the sky.

The heart of this camera is the Sony IMX676 color matrix, using Sony Starvis 2™ technology. This sensor is characterized by a negligibly low level of read noise, which for a gain of 180 (in HCG mode) is only 0.56 e. In combination with an advanced 12-bit analog-to-digital converter and a DDR3 read buffer with a capacity 256 MB guarantees breathtaking results in almost any conditions.

The whole thing is enclosed in a light and compact housing finished in the red color typical of ZWO products.

The most important features of the ZWO ASI 676MC camera

• color camera with small pixel diameter and negligible reading noise intended for planetary astrophotography
• square Sony IMX676 matrix using the latest Sony Starvis 2™ technology, free from the amp glow effect
• 12-bit ADC ensuring large dynamic range
• IR-cut protective window
• very high quantum efficiency
