MAGUS CHD20 is a digital camera designed to work with a microscope. It allows you to take pictures and record videos, edit materials and perform linear and angular measurements. The camera operates on the basis of built-in software that allows you to work directly with a monitor or computer. It is equipped with two interfaces - HDMI and USB - allowing you to display images at a speed of 60 or 50 fps, respectively. The 1/2" SONY Starvis color CMOS sensor with 3.75×3.75 µm pixels provides high light sensitivity (1175 mV at 1/30 s) thanks to the backlight technology used. The camera can record images in low or fluorescent lighting conditions. The use of RGB mosaic filters reduces dark current and improves image quality. A 0.5×–0.7× adapter is recommended for a wide field of view without distortion. The built-in software enables autonomous operation, image processing and measurements. The measurement requires calibration using a calibration agent. The camera works with additional devices such as a USB mouse or flash memory, as well as special MAGUS monitors installed directly on the camera.
