This dark field slider (plate) is designed for MAGUS microscopes. It is designed for examining unstained transparent preparations that can only be observed using the dark field technique. The slider has two holes: one with a built-in dark field diaphragm, and the other is free and designed for the bright field technique. This design facilitates a quick change of microscopic observation technique. The MAGUS DFS1 slider is installed in the Abbe condenser socket. The plate is used only when working with an oil-free (dry) objective with an aperture smaller than 0.9. The thickness of the cover glass should be no more than 0.17 mm, and the specimen glass no more than 1.2 mm.
