William Optics Pleiades 68 mm APO is one of the flagship models dedicated to professional astrophotography. Pleiades series telescopes combine the top achievements of William Optics, thus constituting a new reference point in the market of compact astrographs.

The heart of this telescope is the seven-element optics, in the design of which the use of as many as three low-dispersion lenses made of super ED glass has been taken into account. Thanks to this procedure, this instrument demonstrates excellent correction of chromatic aberrations, which, combined with high light intensity and large aperture, guarantees obtaining images of excellent detail with a significant reduction in exposure time.

This telescope complements the William Optics range of instruments equipped with a focuser ( WIFD William Optics Internal Focus Design ) with internal focusing. This patented solution allows maintaining perfect linearity even when large SLRs or heavy astronomical cameras are installed, thus minimizing the risk of unwanted vignetting to zero. The focuser is also compatible with the WO EAF automatic focusing system.

The telescope tube is mounted on precisely made clamps, equipped with a socket for mounting a finder or guide scope.
