Meade AudioStar is an extremely user-friendly handheld controller designed to control Meade telescopes from the StarNavigator, ETX, LT, LX80, LX85, LX90 and LXD75 series.

The controller allows you to control the telescope both in the targeting mode (GoTo) and by tracking a given point in the sky (tracking). The remote control communicates with the telescope via a dedicated control cable.

Searching for objects in the night sky is possible thanks to an extensive database containing information about the positions of over 30,000 objects. The remote control's memory also contains audio files with a short description of the observed objects, which is an important educational value and, in addition to enriching the user's knowledge, can be particularly helpful in all types of educational and popularization observations.
