SharpStar 50 EDPH is a compact, professional astrograph that, in addition to being used in astrophotography, can also be successfully used for visual observations.
The optical system of this refractor is an ED triplet with an air break, the structure of which uses two low-dispersion lenses, which guarantees the highest image quality and allows for almost complete elimination of chromatic aberrations.
In addition to impeccable optical parameters, SharpStar 50 EDPH is characterized by high quality and precision of mechanical elements. The solid rack & pinion extractor is equipped with a dual speed regulation with a ratio of 1:10 and a rotator that facilitates framing. The telescope can be mounted on astronomical mounts equipped with a Vixen socket, as well as on classic photographic tripods with a 1/4" thread. • compact astrograph with two ED glass lenses, eliminating chromatic aberrations • rack & pinion extractor with rotator and 1.25" eyepiece adapter • Vixen foot with threaded holes enabling mounting on both astronomical mounts and photographic tripods • optical design: apochromatic refractor • lens system: ED triplet with air break • number of ED glass lenses: two • Front lens diameter (aperture): 50 mm • focal length: 275 mm • aperture: f/5.5 • thread for connection to the camera/camcorder: M48x0.75 • stellar range: 10.3 mag • type of lift: rack & pinion, dual speed, gear ratio 1:10, rotor 360° • mounting bracket: Vixen foot with 1/4"-20 threaded holes • tube length: 196 mm • Tube diameter: 60 mm • Deflector diameter: 67 mm • tube weight: 1 kg • SharpStar 50 EDPH telescope • Vixen footer • two-section M48 extension (5 cm) • documentation 24 months
