Svbony SV510 60 mm is a specialized telescope dedicated to visual observations of the solar surface, sunspots and eclipses. This instrument is perfect for both amateur observations and as an aid in teaching science and conducting popularization classes.
The optical system of the telescope is a classic achromatic doublet, using lenses covered with a multi-layer coating. The instrument is adapted to solar observations by using a permanently integrated polymer filter that protects the observer's eyesight from damage. The telescope is equipped with a 1.25" extension with a 90° angle attachment, which significantly improves the convenience of observations.
Due to the type of filter used in this model, the Svbony SV510 60 mm solar telescope has received a positive recommendation from the American Astronomical Society as a safe instrument in accordance with the requirements of the ISO 12312-2 standard. More useful information about solar observing safety can be found at eclipse.aas.org/eye-safety/iso12312-2. • achromatic doublet dedicated to observing sunspots and eclipses • polymer filter integrated with the optics, compliant with the requirements of the ISO 12312-2 safety standard • lenses covered with full anti-reflective coating • dedicated solar disc finder • optical system: refractor • lens system: achromatic doublet with air gap • aperture: 60 mm • focal length: 400 mm • aperture: f/6.6 • optical system coating type: full coating (FC) • solar filter type: permanently attached polymer filter • filter protection standard: ISO 12312-2 • extractor diameter: 1.25" • finder: solar disc finder • angle attachment included: 90° • eyepiece included: K20 mm • extractor diameter: 1.25" • angle attachment: 90° • dimensions: TBD • weight: 1985 g • Svbony SV510 60 mm solar telescope • solar finder • angle attachment • K20 mm eyepiece • transport bag • tripod • documentation 12 months
