Focal reducer adapted for use with the Sky-Watcher Evostar 150DX ED refractor.
It is used to reduce the focal length to 0.77x and improves field correction. At the same time, by shortening the focal length, the telescope's light intensity increases to f/6.2, which in turn shortens the exposure time by 66% and increases the field of view, which is of great importance in astrophotography. This three-element reducer guarantees a fully illuminated circle of light with a size of 34 mm, suitable for APS-C matrices, it can also be used with a full frame.
By using the Sky-Watcher Canon EOS M48x0.75 or Sky-Watcher NIKON M48x0.75 adapter, we can connect the camera to the reducer. Back Focus with the included M48 adapter is 55 mm, after removing the adapter we expose the internal M71x1 thread with a maximum back focus of 75 mm for custom-made adapters.
