The latest version of the SynScan remote control, version 5. The main difference is the built-in USB port through which we can connect it to a computer. Using this Sky Watcher remote control, you can upgrade your equatorial or azimuth mount with the GoTo system with the latest software version 3.xx.

You can update the software version of your new remote control with the latest version at any time. Sky Watcher is constantly working to improve the software. Therefore, in addition to version 3.0, newer versions of update programs are also available.

One of the most awaited functions is object synchronization, which the Sky Watcher remote control also has. If the positioning is not very correct (the object is not in the center but on the edge of the field of view), you can use this function to calibrate the object precisely. For this purpose, the object is first positioned in the center of the eyepiece.

The object database has been expanded and now contains over 13,740 objects.

A new feature is to show the correct position of the North Star. The position is always displayed when the remote control is turned on in the form of a clock time. This solution helps determine exactly what is particularly important in the field of astrophotography.

The Sky Watcher remote control is equipped with a special module that enables the transmission of GPS data to the remote control. For this purpose, it is not necessary to specify the exact coordinates of the place, time, time zone, etc.

In addition to the standard functions, this remote control also has an additional function related to the message about the temperature status and the current download power. In case the telescope is not supported, it can be positioned in a number of ways and the settings are retained.
