The Astronomik H-alpha 12nm CCD filter is a high-quality narrowband filter designed for photographing emission nebulae glowing in the hydrogen line (656 nm). Thanks to the effective cutting off of the sky background, including sodium and mercury lamp emissions, natural airglow and most of the moon glow, it works perfectly both in urban conditions and on dark skies. The 12nm version with MFR (Multi-Frequency Resistant) coating provides high transmission in the H-alpha band and effective suppression of unwanted light in the UV to IR range. It is the best choice for working with DSLR cameras, CCD and CMOS cameras with typical or higher dark current, as well as cameras with a built-in guiding sensor. Thanks to this, the filter facilitates guiding the telescope and allows for obtaining high contrast even in the presence of the Moon. • type: H-alpha CCD filter, narrowband • diameter: 27 mm • assembly: without frame (unmounted) • bandwidth: 12 nm • central wavelength: 656 nm • typical transmission: 96% • guaranteed transmission: >90% • glass thickness: 1 mm • optical compatibility: for systems with a focal ratio of f/3 to f/∞ • Cover: MFR (Multi-Frequency Resistant) • other features: scratch and moisture resistant coating, parfocal filter • SKU: 10212327 / 8h00mh
