Astronomik MC-Clear XT Clip-Filter EOS APS-C (Astronomik, SKU: 10203081 / 8h00jy) is a multicoated (MC) clear glass filter designed for two purposes: dust protection and maintaining the correct optical depth of your optical system.
Its extremely durable, scratch-resistant coating makes it an ideal protective element for optics and sensors (e.g. Schmidt-Cassegrain telescopes, Schmidt-Newton telescopes, Maksutov systems, and DSLR cameras). It protects against dust and airborne contaminants without affecting camera sensitivity, altering colors, or degrading optical performance.
The MC-Clear filter is manufactured to the same high standards as other Astronomik filters, ensuring parfocal compatibility. It can be exchanged with other Astronomik filters without refocusing.
It features multi-layer anti-reflection coatings to minimize unwanted reflections and does not block infrared (IR) or ultraviolet (UV) light.
Astronomik MC-Clear filters are highly valued by camera manufacturers worldwide for their coating quality and scratch resistance and are available in various custom diameters.
