Orion H-beta 2" is an astronomical filter designed to conduct visual observations of the most demanding objects, such as the Horsehead or California nebula.
This filter is characterized by a transmittance window in the range from 475 to 490 nm, including the Hβ spectral line (4486.1 nm). Thanks to this, the filter allows you to extract the maximum number of details even from the most difficult to observe nebular objects. Additionally, by darkening the background of the field of view, it significantly improves contrast.
Attention! The Orion H-beta 2" filter may under no circumstances be used to observe the Sun! • ideal for use in observations of nebular objects • threaded frame enabling attachment to glasses and angle attachments • recommended for use with large aperture tubes • filter type: band filter • Filter diameter: 2" • filter shape: round • passed bands: Hβ • position of the maximum transmittance peak (CWL) for the Hβ band: 486.1 nm • transmittance window range: 475 - 490 nm • Orion H-beta 2" filter 12 months
