Antlia S-II 36 mm 7 nm Prime is a professional astrophotography filter with a half-transmittance window width (FWHM) of 7 nm. It transmits light with wavelengths of 671.6 nm and 672.4 nm, characteristic of ionized sulfur atoms.

This filter combines the ability to almost completely eliminate the undesirable component coming from sodium and mercury lamps with high transmittance for S-II spectral lines. It was made on a high-quality optical glass substrate, ensuring high durability.

The Antlia S-II 36 mm 7 nm Prime filter is distinguished by a steep slope of the transmission window and a flat transmission curve. Carefully selected spectral characteristics with a half-pass width of 7 nm make filters from the 7 nm Prime family ideally suited to cooperation with telescopes with a wide range of light intensity, including the brightest smaller f/2 astrographs.

Attention! The S-II filter is not recommended for visual observation or solar observation.
