The Orion eyepiece, thanks to the illuminated cross, is an ideal solution not only for visual observations, but also for precise setting of GoTo mounts or testing the accuracy of the tracking system in astrophotography.
The eyepiece is equipped with a five-element optical system with a focal length of 20 mm and an apparent field of view of 70°. In order to ensure adequately high contrast and excellent detail, all lenses have been covered with a full multilayer coating (FMC) and their edges have been additionally darkened. The cross-illumination system enables smooth brightness adjustment, and it is powered by two AG9 batteries.
