Sharpstar 61EDPH III APO is the latest version of the astrograph, which is one of the most frequently chosen models of professional optical tubes. The third generation of the 61EDPH telescope is characterized by the use of a new lens system, in which two elements with reduced dispersion have been used.

The heart of this telescope is a three-element, apochromatic optics with an air gap. In order to ensure the best possible color reproduction, two of the lenses are made of low-dispersion glass (ED), resulting in ideal correction of chromatic aberration. The diameter of the full illumination of 44 mm allows for the connection of professional full-frame cameras to the tube without the fear of unwanted vignetting.

The capabilities of this telescope are not limited to astrophotography alone. This instrument allows for visual observations by attaching a diagonal or 1.25" and 2" eyepieces.

In addition to impeccable optical parameters, the Sharpstar 61EDPH III APO is distinguished by high quality and precision of mechanical elements. A solid extension allows for mounting even the heaviest astronomical cameras, and the mounting rings and Vixen foot made in CNC technology guarantee full stability of the tube.
