SVBONY Hα 2" 7 nm is a professional astrophotographic filter with a half-transmission window (FWHM) of 7 nm. It transmits red light with a wavelength of 656.3 nm emitted by ionized hydrogen atoms, whose registration is especially important when photographing emission nebulae. This filter combines the ability to almost completely eliminate the unwanted component coming from sodium and mercury lamps with high transmission for the Hα spectral line, one of the most important from the astrophotography point of view. It was made on a high-quality substrate additionally covered with a multi-layer coating applied in the ion-assisted deposition process. Attention! The Ha filter is not recommended for visual or solar observations.
The most important features of the SVBONY Hα 2" 7 nm filter
• a bandpass filter made on a high-quality glass substrate, allowing Hα band lines to pass through • Half Bandwidth (FWHM) of 7 nm • high ability to cut light pollution
