The Svbony 2" HSO is a set of three two-inch astronomical filters designed for use in photographing deep-sky objects using specialized monochrome cameras.

Narrowband filters from the HSO palette allow for spectacular photographs of emission nebulae or remnants of supernova explosions. Obtaining effects that are strikingly similar to images recorded by the Hubble Space Telescope is possible primarily thanks to the use of advanced filter production technology, which allows for the optimization of the half-width of the transmittance windows. Svbony 2" HSO filters combine very good transmittance for the Hα, S II and O III lines with the ability to almost completely eliminate light pollution coming mainly from sodium and mercury lamps, which is why they are perfect for photographing the sky near large cities.

All filters included in the set have been covered with a full multi-layer anti-reflective coating applied using ion implantation techniques. Thanks to this, the coatings are not only optically perfect, but also very durable and scratch-resistant.
