The Primary Arms by Holosun HE509-RD Solar Powered w/507C mounting plate ACSS Vulcan (SKU: HE509-RD-ACSS-R) is a compact, enclosed pistol sight designed for competitive and combat shooting. It features a Solar Failsafe solar panel, Shake Awake system, and the innovative ACSS Vulcan reticle. The body is made of lightweight and durable aluminum using precision milling. The sight features rubberized, enlarged buttons in a horizontal arrangement for improved ergonomics. A Lock Mode lock prevents accidental setting changes. A sliding side tray allows for quick CR1632 battery replacement without disassembling the sight. A 507C steel plate is used for mounting. The enclosed design increases resistance to dirt and mechanical damage. The lenses are multi-coated with anti-reflective coatings, ensuring high light transmission and a clear, sharp image free of parallax error. The lens diameter is 23 mm. The ACSS Vulcan revolutionizes the way you use a collimator. Instead of a classic red dot, it features a chevron (an inverted V), allowing for quick and precise aiming. An additional circle (with a disable option) supports quick positioning of the chevron in the field of view. If the user loses the aiming point, a circle outline at the edge of the lens makes it easy to correct and return to the target. The reflex sight is powered by a CR1632 battery, which lasts up to 20,000 hours at medium brightness. A Solar Failsafe solar panel supports battery life, automatically adjusts the reticle intensity, and can replace the battery under appropriate conditions. Ten daytime brightness levels and two night vision settings are available. The Shake Awake system puts the sight to sleep after a period of inactivity and wakes it up upon motion detection. A memory function remembers the last settings, and a flashing symbol indicates low battery. The HE509-RD with ACSS Vulcan mesh is not compatible with 509T-specific backplanes.
