Primary Arms SLx 3X MicroPrism is a compact 3x prism sight belonging to the highly regarded Slx line, which owes its reputation to reliability, innovation and great value for money. During field testing, Primary Arms optics were tested on a SCAR 17 .308 Win, which have fired over 7,000 rounds without damage to the sights. The Primary Arms SLx 3x uses an improved ACSS Raptor 5.56/.308 metric reticle etched on premium low dispersion glass, and a reinforced mounting base that guarantees rigidity and reliability æ gun mounts. The Primary Arms SLx 3x is a 3x magnification prism sight that allows for easy target identification at medium range as well as quick dual-eye fire at close range targets. The proprietary ACSS 7.62/.300BLK grid has been etched on the glass, so it is visible regardless of the time of day, even without the need to use the backlight. Under the reticle there is a metric scale that allows you to estimate the distance to the target and shoot at different distances. The reticle has a red backlight (horseshoe and chevron) with 13 levels of day settings and 3 settings for night vision. The use of the AutoLive motion sensor ensures extended battery life - up to 29,000 hours on medium brightness setting. After a prolonged period of inactivity, AutoLive automatically turns off the crosshair illumination, which is immediately restored when the weapon is moved. ACSS Raptor is a proprietary Primary Arms reticle calibrated to the ballistics of 7.62/.300BLK ammunition. The ACSS Raptor mesh in the central part has a thinner chevron (inverted V) surrounded by a thicker horseshoe. Under the chevron there is a scale for estimating the distance and precise striking of targets at different distances. The result is an intuitive reticle that is perfect for dynamic shooting at short distances and precise shooting at medium distances. ACSS is an extremely simple and at the same time functional aiming system, the advantages of which have been appreciated by beginners and experienced shooters around the world.
