GLx prism sights combine the speed of entering the target with a collimator, the precision of an optical sight and a compact size, which is why they are willingly chosen not only by astigmatists, but also by shooters looking for a universal sight for shooting at short and medium distances. The American brand Primay Arms, famous for its high-quality optical sights, collimators, prismatic sights and shooting accessories, has taken the American market by storm, offering products with a great quality-price ratio. Most of the products of this brand are covered by a lifetime warranty, which clearly emphasizes the trust in the offered products. Primary Arms is also famous for its original ACSS reticle, thanks to which novice shooters can instantly improve their shooting skills. Features of the Primary Arms GLx 2x ACSS CQB M5 5.56/.308/5.45 prism sight: • reticle precisely etched on the glass, operating with the backlight on and off • 11-step backlight adjustment, including 3 settings for night vision and 2 DAYLIGHT BRIGHT • 89 mm distance from the eye forgives errors in shooting, • CR2032 battery provides up to 20,000 hours on medium brightness setting, • wide field of view 14/100 meters • patented ACSS CQB M5 5.56 reticle calibrated for 5.56 NATO/5.45×39 mm/6.8 SPC/6.5 Grendel and some .308 Win rifles, • a ring for quick adjustment of the grid focus • durable sealed construction of the viewfinder ensures resistance to fog, rain and shocks, • covered mesh adjustment drums with a precise setting of 0.25 MOA, • light aluminum body, 135 mm long, • the sight is compatible with the standard mini-ACOG mount, • anti-glare anodizing finish, • the set includes a reinforced Picatinny mount and 3 extensions of different heights • viewfinder with lifetime warranty. After rigorous testing, the GLx optics received a Silver Rating from the National Tactical Officers Association and was awarded the "Best CQB Optics" award at Ballistic's Best 2020 Editors' Selects Awards. These awards are given by users of firearms in several categories, e.g. handguns, rifles, optics. The Ballistic's Best Editors' Selects awards recognize products that outperform the competition in various aspects. In the CQB optics category, the GLx 2x Prism series won the judges' trust thanks to its combination of innovation, reliability and design. GLx combines advanced technology, solid materials and affordable prices, which makes the products of this brand an attractive alternative to much more expensive top brands. A big innovation of the GLx series is the use of AutoLive backlight with a motion sensor, as well as premium optics with low dispersion. Primary Arms GLx 2X Prism Scope sights have a compact form, constant 2× magnification and the proprietary ACSS reticle etched on the glass, operating with the backlight on or off. The Primary Arms GLx 2X is a fixed 2× magnification prismatic sight that allows for easy target identification at medium range as well as quick dual-eye fire at close range targets. Many shooters struggle with the problem of astigmatism, a vision condition that causes the aiming point to blur/distort when using a collimator, etc. This makes it difficult to aim, especially at small, far away targets. This problem can be solved by replacing the collimator with a much more expensive holographic sight, a running scope or a prismatic sight breaking popularity records across the board. Unlike collimators, magnification prism sights have a BDC reticle, a much clearer image without parallax error. They also provide greater precision when shooting over longer distances, while allowing binocular aiming while maintaining situational awareness. The compact aluminum body is only 135 m long and weighs 312 g. The sight's solid sealed construction ensures resistance to fog, rain and shocks. The viewfinder has a 12 mm exit pupil and allows you to keep a long distance from the eyes. Thanks to this, the Primary Arms GLx 2X prism sight provides a wide field of view and is great for fast shooting, where we do not always have time to properly assemble the shot. Thanks to the use of AutoLive motion activation, the battery life has been extended up to 20,000 hours. After a prolonged period of inactivity, AutoLive automatically turns off the crosshair illumination, which is immediately restored when the weapon is moved. The proprietary ACSS grid can be used with or without backlight adjustable in the range of 11 levels of intensity. The first three brightness settings are compatible with night vision and are only visible when an NV device is used. The two highest settings defined as DAYLIGHT BRIGHT allow for comfortable use of the viewfinder also in intense sunlight. Turning the highlighting knob all the way to either side turns off the reticle highlighting. Setting the right backlight power guarantees a good contrast between the grid and the target, the speed of entering the target without straining your eyesight. The ACSS CQB M5 is a Primary Arms proprietary reticle calibrated to the ballistics of 5.56 NATO, 5.45×39 mm, 6.8 SPC, 6.5 Grendel and some .308 Winchester rifles. The ACSS CQB M5 mesh in the central part has a thinner chevron (inverted letter V) surrounded by a thicker horseshoe. Under the chevron there is a scale for applying precipitation corrections. The result is an intuitive reticle that is perfect for dynamic shooting at short distances and precise shooting at medium distances. Thanks to this grid, we can perform precipitation compensation (at a distance of up to 457 m), estimate the distance to the target, and thanks to the thickened horseshoe, we can smoothly move between moving targets. ACSS is an extremely simple and at the same time functional aiming system, the advantages of which have been appreciated by beginners and experienced shooters around the world. The 2nd generation prism sights use a solid aluminum mount with key elements made of steel, which guarantees stable and reliable zeroing. Primary Arms GLx 2X has a mini-Acog mounting base. The set includes: a prismatic sight, a mounting base for a Picatinny rail and 3 extensions of different heights. • linear field of view at 100 m [m]: 14 • distance from the eye [mm]: 89 • reticle illumination: on • magnification [×]: 2 • reticle type: ACSS CQB-M5 • type of turrets: covered • max. vertical adjustment (height) [MOA]: 40 • max. horizontal (window) adjustment [MOA]: 40 • shift at full turn [MOA]: 40 • step adjustment [MOA]: 40 • total length [mm]: 135 • weight [g]: 312 • components of the telescope set: assembly • manufacturer: Primary Arms, USA • supplier symbol: PA-GLX-2XP-ACSS-5.56
