Vortex Mountain Pass is a stable and lightweight tripod with a wide range of adjustments, designed for use with large and heavy binoculars and spotting scopes.
The tripod is equipped with four-section aluminum legs that facilitate perfect adjustment to any terrain conditions. The spacing of the legs is adjustable in three steps, and the legs are finished with rubber feet to ensure proper adhesion to the ground. The tripod can be additionally loaded or attached to the ground with a removable hook, which improves its stability, for example in strong winds.
The tripod head enables adjustment of the angle of inclination and panning in the full range of rotations, and its maximum load capacity is as much as 10 kg. The universal Arca-Swissz mounting plate with 1/4"-20 photo thread is used to mount the telescope or other optical devices.
