ZWO ASI 462 MM (Early bird Version) is a professional monochrome astrophotography camera, which is a development of the ASI 290 MM model. Thanks to the use of a high quantum efficiency and very low noise Sony IMX462 matrix and a 12-bit ADC converter, this camera generates breathtaking images with unprecedented sharpness and tonal dynamics.

The use of the Sony IMX462 sensor built in Sony Starvis™ technology allows for unprecedented sensitivity, which will allow the recording of weak signals coming from even the most distant objects in deep space. This product is also free from the Amp Glow effect characteristic of many CMOS matrices, which manifests itself in the brightening of certain parts of the image during long exposures. Despite the lack of active cooling, the camera has an extremely low reading noise level, ranging from 0.5 to 2.5 e.

The camera is enclosed in a compact metal housing painted in the classic red color for ZWO products.

Attention! The ZWO ASI 462 MM (Early bird Version) version does not have a built-in memory buffer. A buffer with a capacity of 256 MB will be available only in a later production series marked ZWO ASI 462 MM V2 (Official Version).
