Askar 65PHQ is an astrograph which, thanks to its optical characteristics, will be perfect in the hands of people taking their first steps in professional astrophotography, as well as in the role of a basic optical tube in the arsenal of the most experienced and demanding users. As an alternative to the larger models of the PHQ series, this telescope is ideal for completing a mobile observation and photographic set with a smaller and lighter assembly.
The heart of this telescope is a five-element apochromatic air-gap optic. In order to ensure the best correction of chromatic aberrations, Askar's designers opted for a solution known from the most expensive, flagship apochromats, namely the use of two elements made of glass with reduced dispersion (ED). In addition to excellent color reproduction, the Askar 80PHQ is characterized by maintaining a negligible curvature of the field, thanks to which, even without the use of an additional flattener, the image on the edge of the frame is free from noticeable distortions.
However, the possibilities of this telescope are not limited to astrophotography only. This instrument allows you to conduct visual observations after connecting the diagonal attachment or glasses with a diameter of 1.25" and 2".
In addition to impeccable optical parameters, Askar 65PHQ is characterized by high quality and precision of mechanical elements.
